Jim 'n Nick's Bar-B-Q

We order here at least once a month and I always thought the smoked turkey was stellar. So we decided to order the thanksgiving meal. Everything was so fantastic that you so much our guests enjoyed everything so much. The packaging was amazing easy reheat, fast and efficient pick up the night before. Y'all are the best

Best experience we’ve had! My family travels frequently from Knoxville to Birmingham, and this is our go-to stop for lunch or dinner, depending on the time we pass by. Our (somewhat complicated) order was fulfilled accurately and in a timely fashion, and the food was delicious. We had burgers, pulled chicken, pork and more! The Mac and cheese is delicious, and their onion rings are the best around (ask for BBQ sauce with them). If you’re in the drive thru or doing take out, make sure you ask if cheese biscuits come with your order! They are amazing! Sorry that I don’t have pics, we were eating before the phones came out!

When you walk into Jim N Nick’s, the heavenly aroma of smoked bar-b-q envelopes your senses. You are greeted with a basket of cheese biscuits that combine a sweet cornbread with cheddar cheese. The trick is not to eat 5 or 6 before your meal comes. I had the smoked turkey sandwich, which was piled with the most tender and flavorful meat I’ve ever had. It was so filling, I took half home. The side of baked beans were the perfect complement with a tangy yet sweet taste. There were three of us having a sandwich and side and our bill was $35 before tip. Good parking with handicap parking at the door. We’ll go back to try the ribs next.

Ms. Catie, our server this evening, delivered outstanding service. Her ability to provide tailored recommendations for my son was particularly commendable. Her attentiveness was exemplary, and our requirements were met with efficiency. We intend to request her services again on our next visit. The meal was excellent, and we anticipate exploring additional menu options in the future.

Drive through is so convenient. Love the sides. Mac n cheese, collards, cheese biscuits, potato salad, and the potatoes are my favorite. They have crushed ice which is awesome too. The not so naked potatoes and the house salad are both stellar! Somehow just bought a family size Mac n cheese when I asked for a small. Not that thrilled cause I’m not trying to get fat today. Was wondering why my bag was heavy, so check your bag before you leave the window. Appreciated the cheese biscuits! Bring cash to pay cause it’s more convenient in the drive thru rather than exchanging a clip board back n forth for tips. Etc. Love this restaurant for the comfort food. Would recommend as a quick unique meal. Inside is casual and the servers are great.

I can not say enough positive things about this establishment. I am well taken care of every visit which Im embarrassed to admit is at times several times a week now. I am obsessed with their delicious cheddar biscuits & have eaten my weight in them since having my 1st meal there. Thank God for good metabolism lol. The staff is as amazing as the food they serve and I've actually come to be friends with a few that see my face numerous times a week. Jim & Nick's have definitely become one of my top 5 restaurants in Chattanooga because there isn't anything but top notch service, easy going environment, spectacular service & incredibly delicious foods & drinks. Please take away from my review that youre jipping yourself if you aren't experiencing this food & the great folks who blessed Chattanooga with it. Thanks everyone, I hope you guys are here for many years to come. Update 8/8/25 I usually LOVE this place especially for their rolls, I have 2 dozen them doordashed per week but yesterday they brought them & I dug whatever this is out of one of them. It wasn't blackened on the bottom from baking them, this was all dug out from INSIDE the roll. Unsettling.....

The atmosphere was very peaceful for a BBQ place during my first visit. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was also ready within 10 minutes, and it was delicious. Compared to other BBQ places, this one was reasonably priced. I’d definitely come back!
